The Social Impact Award gives the most promising ventures exposure to a wide variety of stakeholders both nationally and internationally, while serving as proof of reliability to potential funding partners. Recipients of the award are also granted a lump sum of pre-seed funding and gain access to our yearly Summit, an international gathering of promising social entrepreneurs from all SIA countries.

In 2011, we also created the Community Award, with the aim of rewarding fan-favorite ventures. The ventures who receive the highest number of votes in their country during our yearly Community Voting receive this award, giving them international exposure and a variety of different rewards.

Incubation participants are automatically considered as potential recipients of the Social Impact Award. Only participants who go through our incubation journey can win the award.
